Modified design of Desorber & Absorber is developed for small Capacity vapour absorption air Cooling system. In this system the mixture within the Heat Exchanger-](Desorber) is heated using an electric heating coil. Liquid medium is used for heating the refrigerant absorbent pair within the Heat Exchanger-1 (Desorber). Fins are provided in order to enhance the heat transfer rate. The weak solution is passed through the fin tube heat exchanger-2 so that it get cooled and part of heat is used on the surface of Desorber to improve heat transfer rate of Desorber. As the surface area of fin tube heat exchanger-1 (desorber) increases, it improves the heat transfer rate of fin tube heat exchanger-1 (desorber) since the existing vapour absorption air cooling system is not yet designed for small, capacity.
