PROCESS FOR SYNTHESIS OF TRANSPARENT FLEXIBLE POLYIMIDE MATERIALS

The invention relates to a process for the synthesis of polyimide materials for making flexible transparent films. According to the invention, the process consists in a one-stage reaction between a combination of alicyclic dianhydride and aromatic dianhydride in a molar ratio of 3:1 and a combination of alicyclic diamine and aromatic diamine in a molar ratio of 1:3, at a temperature of 90°C, for 3 h, and a temperature of 190°C, for 6 h, to result in soluble imide polymers which can be processed as dimensionally-stable flexible transparent heat-resistant films.
