[Problem] To provide a pressure detection device in which it is possible to reduce the number of components and achieve a reduction in size, and an electromotive hydraulic pump in which the pressure detection device is stored. [Solution] This pressure detection device 100 has: a base plate 10 having a first surface and a second surface 12 positioned on the vertical-direction reverse side of the first surface, the base plate 10 being provided with an opening 13; a pressure sensor disposed on the first surface so as to cover the opening 13, the pressure sensor outputting an electrical signal that corresponds to the pressure of a measurement fluid within the opening 13; a lead terminal 30 that is electrically connected to the pressure sensor; a housing 40 for holding the base plate 10 and the lead terminal 30, the housing 40 being provided with an exposure part 41 through which part of the lead terminal 30 is exposed; and a capacitor 50 for protecting the pressure sensor. The housing 40 is provided with: a capacitor-accommodating part 42 in which the capacitor 50 can be fitted, the fitted capacitor 50 being electrically connected to the lead terminal 30 within the exposure part 41; and a positioning part 60 for positioning the capacitor 50 within the capacitor-accommodating part 42 while the capacitor 50 is fitted in the capacitor-accommodating part 42.
