Disclosed are a method and device for beamforming under pulse noise. The method comprises: obtaining a target optimization problem using the sparsity of a beamforming pattern according to array output geometric power and l1 norm minimization; resolving the target optimization problem using a stochastic gradient algorithm or a similar recursive least square method to obtain an optimal weight vector; and performing beamforming according to the optimal weight vector. Compared with the prior art, by obtaining a target optimization problem using the sparsity of a beamforming pattern according to array output geometric power and l1 norm minimization, and resolving the target optimization problem using a stochastic gradient algorithm or a similar recursive least square method to obtain an optimal weight vector, the method and device can avoid estimating statistical parameters of pulse noise, are suitable for almost all noise pulses, and effectively reduce sidelobe interference and noise and improve output SINR.
