Provided are ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition pellets that make it possible to suppress the occurrence of miniscule fish eyes having a diameter of 200 µm or less to an extremely high level and that contain a conjugated polyene, said ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition pellets being characterized by containing a specific proportion of least one fish eye-suppressing component and by the content of the conjugated polyene in a pellet surface layer section being 30 ppb or more by weight with respect to the pellets.
