The present invention sets forth a resin film 10 containing a polyimide polymer. The tensile elastic modulus of the resin film 10 is at least 4.0 GPa. In a bending test in which the resin film 10 was repeatedly bent into a U-shape and straightened (where bending was carried out to such an extent that the distance between opposing parts of the resin film was 3 mm), the number of times the resin film 10 could be bent before the resin film 10 ruptured exceeded 100,000 times.
