The invention concerns a method for monitoring the clogging of at least one particle filter (13) equipping an air conditioning system (1) of a vehicle. The invention also relates to a monitoring device (14) suitable for implementing the method of the invention. The method of the invention comprises at least one calculation step (E2) identifying a clogging state (22) of the particle filter (13) based on at least two parameters (17a, 17b). A first parameter (17a) relates to the flow rate of at least one air flow (F3) generated by a motor fan unit (6) of the air conditioning system (1) and passing through the particle filter (13). The second parameter (17b) relates to the concentration of particles contained in the air flow (F3).
