The vehicle control device is provided with a road surface information acquisition means (23) for acquiring information about the road surface being traversed and a vehicle control means (24) for controlling the roll center position adjustment mechanism (11) and the roll stiffness varying mechanism (13) on the basis of the acquired road surface information.
