The present invention relates to an apparatus to test expansion and waterproof performances of an expansion joint for a bridge, comprising: a plurality of guide rails disposed in parallel; a fixated side specimen mounting unit installed to fixate one side of the guide rails to detachably couple one side of an expansion joint specimen; a moving side specimen mounting unit installed in the other side of the guide rails to be able to slide, to detachably couple to the other side of the expansion joint specimen; a reciprocating unit to reciprocate the moving side specimen mounting unit; and a load cell to measure a force applied to the reciprocating unit. According to the present invention, the expansion and waterproof performances of the expansion joint installed in the bridge are tested in a condition like an actual situation; thereby correctly measuring performance of the expansion joint.
