The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing uranium chloride in molten salt and an electrolysis apparatus therefor. The method comprises the following steps: (a) filling molten salt in a reactor; (b) charging a positive electrode crucible accommodating uranium metal and a negative electrode crucible accommodating zinc metal in the molten sa (c) supplying chlorine gas into the negative electrode crucible with the certain amount and producing zinc chloride; and (d) conducting reaction of the produced zinc chloride and the uranium metal and generating uranium chloride and zinc metal. Accordingly, uranium chloride with fewer impurities can be manufactured and manufactured uranium chloride can be collected in an easy manner.
