A naphthalene-based superplasticizer having antimicrobial properties suitable for use in concrete and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The naphthalene-based superplasticizer of the present invention contains 24 wt% of dilution water, 16 wt% of sodium hydroxide, 20 wt% of sulfur, and 40 wt% of PNS. The present invention provides a naphthalene-based superplasticizer for concrete having antimicrobial properties capable of preventing biochemical corrosion of a concrete structure for underground burial so that the loss of the concrete structure buried in the underground can be reduced.
