The present invention relates to a freezing and bursting prevention drinking fountain, comprising: a drinking fountain body; a first water supply pipe to supply drinking water to the drinking fountain body; a drain pipe collecting the remaining drinking water, which flows therein after being discharged from the drinking fountain body to the outside, to discharge the same; a switching valve installed between the first water supply pipe and the drain pipe to continuously move the drinking water along the first water supply pipe or discharge the drinking water, previously moved when the drinking water supplied to the first water supply pipe is cut off, through the drain pipe; and a check valve installed in the first water supply pipe to be interlocked when operating the switching valve. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the drinking water remaining in the first water supply pipe in winter is drained through the drain pipe by using the switching valve, thereby providing effect of preventing freezing and bursting, and quickly draining the drinking water as the check valve installed in the first water supply valve is naturally opened during drainage.
