The present invention relates to an antibody, which is bound specifically to an N-terminal region of lysyl-tRNA synthetase exposed to a cell outer membrane. More specifically, the present invention relates to: an antibody, which has a certain complementary determining region (CDR) sequence, disclosed in the present specifications, and is bound specifically to an epitope comprising a sequence of SEQ ID NO: 97 in an N-terminal of lysyl-tRNA synthetase (KRS), or fragments thereof; and use for preventing cancer metastasis and use for diagnosing cancer of the antibody or the fragments. According to the present invention, the antibody or the fragments have excellent ability to be bound specifically to the KRS N-terminal region exposed to an outer membrane of a cell and thus can be used to diagnose diseases known as disease (for example, cancer) accompanied by KRS specific behavior. In addition, the antibody or the fragments can be targeted specifically to the KRS N-terminal region even in vivo, inhibits interaction between a laminin receptor and the KRS N-terminal region, and thus can be used as a treatment agent. Therefore, the antibody or the fragments have significant industrial applicability.
