The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing liver cancer using mass spectrometry of glycopeptide derived from α-fetoprotein (AFP). Specifically, the method for analyzing AFP glycopeptides according to the present invention can diagnose a liver cancer patient at an early stage of liver cancer by analyzing a fucosylation rate of glycopeptides having a sequence composed of Val-Asn-Phe-Thr-Glu-Ile-Gln-Lys. In particular, the method shows a high fucosylation rate in liver cancer patients as compared to patients with liver disease, and thus can be effectively used to distinguish and diagnose liver cancer patients and liver disease patients at an early stage.
