The present invention relates to a method and a program for analyzing the crying sound of a baby. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the method for analyzing the crying sound of a baby includes: a step of receiving crying data related to the crying sound of a baby (S100); a step of acquiring only a specific length of time from the crying data to generate divided section data (S300); a step of allowing a computer to extract a plurality of sampling data (S500); a step of distinguishing consonant interval data from vowel interval data based on a waveform change or waveform repetition in a time domain and extracting vowel interval data corresponding to an extracted consonant from the vowel interval data (S700); a step of extracting feature information from the vowel interval data (S900); and an emotion information determination step (S1100) of comparing the feature information with reference data to determine emotion information corresponding to the crying data. It is possible to accurately analyze the diverse current status of the baby.
