The present invention discloses a method for detecting a direction using an array manifold which can provide more accurate direction detection performance in consideration of an actual environment of a direction detection area. The method for detecting a direction using an array manifold comprises the following steps of: modeling a receiving antenna and a ground and a building existing in a predetermined range from the receiving antenna; determining a dielectric constant and a conductivity of the ground and the building according to at least one among frequency information of a receiving signal, component information of the ground and the building and temperature information of an area in which the receiving antenna is installed; and estimating an array manifold for the receiving antenna through a scattering body analysis simulator based on a modeled scattering body model, the dielectric constant and the conductivity.
