FIELD: weapons and ammunition.;SUBSTANCE: for torpedo defence of a surface ship or a submarine, an underwater transporter equipped with a container with a net sweep is used. Using a tensioner, a sweep is attached to the tail of the transporter and it is brought into a stretched position. The transporter is given positive buoyancy. The trajectory of the torpedo is changed and it is taken away from the surface ship or submarine.
