FIELD: instrument engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and device for using excess heat from flue gas of a power plant for drying fuel from biomass. Method includes the following steps: 1) gradual use of excess heat from flue gas; 2) high-temperature rapid drying by hot air of the first stage; 3) medium-temperature drying at constant speed with hot air of the second stage; 4) low-temperature accelerated drying of the third stage.
