There is provided a sealing arrangement 41 for inserting in a groove 31â in a hydraulic system to form a seal between two surfaces in the system. The sealing arrangement 41 comprises an outer ring 43 and an inner ring 42 arrangeable in a co-planar manner and concentrically in the groove 31â . The inner ring 42 comprises a resiliently deformable material and the outer ring 43 is more rigid than the inner ring 42 and is for supporting the inner ring 42 in the groove 31â . The outer ring 43 comprises an inner surface 44 facing substantially radially inwardly of the outer ring and the inner ring 42 comprises an outer surface 48 facing substantially radially outwardly of the inner ring. The inner surface 44 of the outer ring 43 describes a surface recess 44a that accepts at least a portion of the outer surface 48 of the inner ring 42.
