PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient production method to obtain a "high ACA-containing material" from galangal (natural product), which contains 1-acetoxychavicol acetate (ACA) in large quantity.;SOLUTION: The method for producing a 1-acetoxychavicol acetate (ACA)-containing material comprises: (1) a shredding step of shredding galangal to obtain shredded matter; (2) a water treatment step of obtaining a slurry containing the shredded matter and water; (3) a solid-liquid separation step of separating the slurry into solid and liquid to obtain a solid material; and (4) an oil-soluble component extraction step of extracting and separating an oil-soluble component from the solid material using an organic solvent.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
