To provide an abnormality diagnosis device for an inverter capable of diagnosing abnormality during operation, an inverter device and an electric vehicle with the inverter device mounted thereon.SOLUTION: An abnormality diagnosis device for an inverter diagnoses abnormality in an inverter 24 which converts DC power of a DC power source 32 into AC power of three phases to be used for driving a motor 6 by turning on/turning off multiple switching elements 27. The abnormality diagnosis device comprises: a calculation circuit part 19 for calculating a command value of a current to flow to the motor 6 in accordance with a given torque command; and current sensors 29 for detecting phase currents of phases flowing to the motor 6. The abnormality diagnosis device also comprises: comparison means 33 for comparing the phase currents detected by the current sensors 29 with a threshold per fixed time while an absolute value of the command value of the current calculated by the calculation circuit part 19 exceeds a threshold; and determination means 34 for determining, in a case where the comparison means 33 indicates that a current of a phase is lower than the threshold continuously specified times or more, that open-circuit abnormality occurs in the switching element 27 that drives the phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
