To cope with a problem that while it is necessary to determine property information of ancestors and to carry out all the procedures in order to determine the amount of inheritance tax, it is not possible to centrally manage how far each ancestor has provided property information and has carried out the procedures.SOLUTION: The inheritance information management device includes means for accepting an input of an inheritance property, means for accepting an input of a procedure state including a state of collection of submitting documents for each inheritance property, and means for accepting an input of heir information. The device further includes means for accepting the input in a distinguishing manner as to whether it is approximate or settled for each inheritance property, and further includes means for managing submitting documents and information on procedures which are needed to apply an inheritance tax for each inheritance property, and inheritance property procedure state outputting means for listing, for each heir, inheritance properties associated with each heir and a procedure state including a state of collection of submitting documents corresponding to each inheritance property, in a distinguishing manner as to whether or not the amount of money or a size of each inheritance property is approximate or settled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5-1
