To provide an extract for a food product allergen detection method using a monoclonal antibody, capable of extracting allergen protein from a sample such as a food product (including processed food product subjected to cooking), seed, raw material powder, capable of detecting allergen without occurrence of false positive in a food product allergen detection method using the monoclonal antibody.SOLUTION: The extract comprises: 0.05-10 (w/v)% of zwitter surfactant; 0.05-1.5 (v/v)% of polyoxyethylene octylphenyl ether (CAS registration number 9002-93-1:TritonX-100 (registered trademark)); 0.05-10 (v/v)% of octylphenyl polyethylene glycol (CAS registration number 9036-19-5:IGEPAL CA-630(registered trademark)) or 0.05-0.9 (v/v)% of polyoxyethylene sorbitan monolaurate (CAS registration number 9005-64-5:Tween20 (registered trademark)), and comprises no reductant, or the extract comprises 0.005-0.09 (w/v)% of anionic surfactant and 0.05-10 (v/v)% of nonionic surfactant as surfactant.SELECTED DRAWING: None
