To address such a problem that strong force of forceps and a plier may be sometimes applied to a key tooth to cause damage of the tooth in a treatment of removing a metal core that is provided by forming an abutment tooth, from a root of tooth according to necessity of treatment of the root of tooth or the like.SOLUTION: A flat removal tool 1 made of stainless steel is formed by providing a rectangular anchor 11 at a part of an outer peripheral part of an oval handle 10. The anchor 11 includes a scraping portion 12 like a file formed at a tip end portion thereof. A cutting part (a gap) 30 is provided at a boundary between a tooth 3 and a metal core 2, the anchor 11 is inserted therein, the handle 10 is twisted back and forth, with it held with fingertips, and force is applied to the metal core 2 to make it float from the tooth 3 and remove it therefrom.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
