To provide a method for producing a (meth) acrylic polymer that can improve heat resistance and impact resistance without impairing the transparency of an acrylic polymer.SOLUTION: A (meth) acrylic polymer is produced that shows a glass transition point in both of a range of -80°C to 0°C and a range of 100°C or more, by polymerizing a (meth) acrylic monomer (C), in the presence of a (meth) acrylic raw material polymer having a glass transition point in a range of -80°C to 0°C and having a polymerizable double bond.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
