To provide a ship desulfurization system capable of suppressing the effects of a problem that spraying of a washing liquid becomes ununiform due to pitching and rolling of the ship.SOLUTION: The ship desulfurization system desulfurizes exhaust gas exhausted from exhaust gas generation equipment onboard a ship, comprises: an absorption tower which defines an internal space having a lengthwise direction and includes an absorption tower main body in which is formed an exhaust gas introduction port at one end in the lengthwise direction in communication with the internal space; an exhaust gas introduction device which introduces exhaust gas exhausted from the exhaust gas generation equipment to the absorption tower main body; and a spraying device which can spray a washing liquid on exhaust gas flowing through the internal space. The spraying device includes a water spray pipe extending through the internal space and a plurality of spray nozzles provided on the spray water pipe spaced apart at a given interval. When a maximum length of the internal space in the lengthwise direction is taken as L, and a maximum width on the internal space in a short direction orthogonal to the lengthwise direction is taken as W, the ratio W:L is more than 1:1.1 but not exceeding 1:6.0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
