To sterilize rice more securely in a country elevator or a rice center.SOLUTION: A country elevator or rice center includes: load receiving equipment for receiving grain in a country elevator or rice center; a threshing machine which is arranged in a later process than the load receiving equipment and removes hulls of the grain; a product tank which is arranged in a later process than the threshing machine and stores the grain; and a sterilizer which is arranged in a later process than the load receiving equipment and in a previous process than the product tank, and sterilizes the grain.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
