Tobacco leaf extract and its use for the treatment of tobacco poisoning

The present invention relates to a tobacco leaf extract that contains at least 5 wt% protein, based on the total weight of the extract, and is essentially free of molecules having a molecular weight of less than 10 kDa. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing such an extract and its use in the treatment of tobacco poisoning.
