Tobacco leaf extract and its use for the treatment of tobacco poisoning

The present invention relates to a tobacco leaf extract which contains at least 5% by weight, based on the total weight of the extract, of a protein whose molecular mass is greater than 10 kDa, and whose molecular mass is essentially less than 10 kDa. The present invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing such extracts and their use in the treatment of tobacco addiction.
