PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that realizes direct and high-sensitive measurement of concentration of calciprotein particles (CCP) in blood.SOLUTION: A CCP measuring method includes a step of bringing a serum into contact with a calcium phosphate crystal-specific binding fluorescent probe and measures an amount of CPP using fluorescence intensity of the fluorescent probe as an indicator. The calcium phosphate crystal-specific binding fluorescent probe is a conjugate of bisphosphonate and fluorescent dye. The method also includes the steps of: measuring a total amount of CPP by providing the step with the serum; measuring an amount of low-density CCP by providing the step with supernatant obtained by applying 1.5 to 2-hour centrifugation to 16,000 to 24,000 g of the serum; and calculating an amount of high-density CCP by subtracting the amount of low-density CPP from the total amount of CCP.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
