PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide charging facility managing device and method that can optimize the amount of purchased power to be purchased from a commercial power supply.SOLUTION: A charging facility managing device has a use prediction part for acquiring a using vehicle number prediction value representing a prediction value of the number of vehicles which are predicted to use chargers within a predetermined prediction period, a supply power amount predicting part for predicting a power supply amount which can be supplied from the chargers to the vehicles within the prediction period on the basis of the using vehicle number prediction value acquired by the use prediction part, a generated power prediction part for predicting the amount of power which can be generated by a power generator within the prediction period, and a purchased power upper limit value determining unit for determining, on the basis of a prediction result obtained by the supply power amount predicting part and a prediction result obtained by the generated power predicting part, an insufficient power amount which will be insufficient when the generated power predicted as the supply power supplied from the chargers to the vehicles within the prediction period is used, and determining the upper limit value of the purchased power required to a commercial power supply within the prediction period on the basis of the insufficient power amount.
