A plurality of payload messages (502, 505, 508) is communicated on a radio link of a cellular network between a terminal (130) and an access node (1 12) of the cellular network. Each one of the plurality of payload messages (502, 505, 508) includes a data packet (501) encoded according to a given redundancy version (371-373). The number of the plurality of payload messages (502, 505, 508) may be dynamically and flexibly adjusted in some embodiments. Examples are given which may be applied for coverage enhancement in the Internet of Things or Machine Type Communication domain.
