The worn absorbent article includes an absorbent main body (10), a back waist section (20) located on one side of the absorbent main body (10), a front waist section (30) located on the side of the other end of the absorbent main body (10) , and two connecting zones (40) formed by attaching both side end portions of the front waist section (30) respectively to both side end portions of the back waist section (20). The end portion of the rear waist section (20), upper in the vertical direction, is higher in the vertical direction than the end of the front waist section (30), upper in the vertical direction, and a high density zone (50) is provided on each side end portion of the upper end portion rear waist section (20), while the zone (50) of high density has a density greater than the density of the zone surrounding it.
