The present invention discloses a pharmaceutical composition for vaginal hydration in form of gel consisting of 0.2% w/w Hyaff11p50, 10% w/w propylene glycol, 0.2% w/w methyl parahydroxybenzoate, 0.03% w/w propyl parahydroxybenzoate, 1% w/w Carbopol®974P, NaOH q.s. for pH 5.5-6.5 and water q.s. for 100%, or a pharmaceutical composition for vaginal hydration in form of gel consisting of 0.2% w/w Hyaff11p50, 5.767% w/w propylene glycol, 3.750% w/w MP-Diol® glycol, 0.9% w/w Symdiol 68, 1% w/w Carbopol®974P, NaOH q.s. for pH 5.5-6.5 and water q.s. for 100%. The present invention also relates to the use of a pharmaceutical composition for vaginal hydration in form of gel, ovules, douches, foam, mousse.
