An anchorable clip is for insertion into a receiving aperture in an articleand subsequent secure retention by the article. The anchorable clip comprisesa firstmain body portion and a second main body portion together reconfigurablebetween aninitial configuration and an in-use configuration. The first main body portionand thesecond main body portion together define, in the in-use configuration: aninsertableshank; a base; and a clip member. There is at least one displaceableprojectionprojecting outwardly from at least one of the first main body portion and thesecondmain body portion for engaging at least a portion of the article adjacent thereceivingaperture to thereby preclude the anchorable clip from being removed from thereceivingaperture. The first main body portion comprises a first shank portion of theinsertableshank, a first base portion of the base, and a first clip portion of the clipmember, andthe second main body portion comprises a second shank portion of theinsertableshank, a second base portion of the base, and a second clip portion of theclip member.
