The invention discloses a control method for the management of injection means of an internal combustion engine, the internal combustion engine being coupled to means for the post-treatment of exhaust gases, when a complementary injection of treatment gases or a complementary injection for calibration of the injection means is requested by the control means, the method comprising a step of pooling the complementary injection of treatment gases with the complimentary injection for calibration of the injection means, the pooling being achieved when the complementary injection parameters are compatible.
