The invention relates to a liquid aqueous cleaning agent, comprising a) at least one cationic surfactant comprising at least one quaternary ammonium compound; b) at least one nonionic surfactant comprising at least one amine oxide; c) at least one alcohol; d) optionally additives; and e) water, which is added to 100 wt%; the sum of a) to e) being 100 wt%. The invention further relates to a method for producing said cleaning agent and to the use of a mixture of: at least one nonionic surfactant comprising at least one amine oxide; and at least one alcohol; to stabilize, to increase the microbicidal effectiveness against gram-negative bacteria or to increase the microbicidal effectiveness against yeasts and molds of liquid aqueous cleaning agents that contain at least one quaternary ammonium compound.
