Provided is a waterproof component which is an insert molded body composed of a thermoplastic resin composition and a metal component. The thermoplastic resin composition includes a thermoplastic resin (A) and an inorganic fibrous reinforcing material (B). The inorganic fibrous reinforcing material (B) has a content of 8 to 130 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin (A). The inorganic fibrous reinforcing material (B) has an average fiber diameter of 10 μm or less and an average fiber length of 300 μm or less.
