Disclosed in the present application is a financial analysis method based on a financial and economic event on a microblog. The method comprises: crawling correlated data of a target financial company by means of a crawler; preprocessing the correlated data; performing text segmentation on the preprocessed correlated data to obtain a text set; analyzing the text set to obtain a theme set; computing a keyword set of the text set; selecting a keyword matching the theme set from the keyword set; selecting a word indicating an expectation of the public on the target financial company, and computing the degree of co-occurrence of the expectation word and the keyword by means of a preset model; and outputting an evaluation conclusion about the target financial company according to the degree of co-occurrence. The present application also provides an application server and a computer readable storage medium. By means of the financial data analysis method, the application server and the computer readable storage medium provided in the present application, data of attitudes given by the public about policies implemented by the target financial company can be quickly obtained, and the development of related businesses is promoted.
