The present invention relates to the field of visual sweeping robots, and relates to a restricting device, a visual sweeping robot and a control method therefor; the restricting device comprises a body, a light-emitting diode (LED) lamp and a processor; the processor controls the LED lamp to emit light of a specific signal, the light spreading towards the outside of the body so that the visual sweeping robot generates a corresponding cleaning command according to the light signal after the same is captured during cleaning. According to the present invention, the functions of the restricting device are more comprehensive, and cleaning commands may be flexibly configured according to the demands of a user.
