ELECTRICAL COMPONENT BOX, AIR CONDITIONER, AND INDOOR UNIT FOR AIR CONDITIONER

This electrical component box is provided with a housing which has contained therein electrical components used for operating and controlling an air conditioner and which has an open face and a flattened surface which is provided to one of surrounding surfaces which surround the open face. The electrical component box is provided with a cover body which closes the open face of the housing, and fastening members which have head sections and body sections and which fasten the cover body to the housing. The cover body has: a closure surface section having a flat surface section which covers the open face of the housing, and having a plurality of fastening member mounting sections; and a guide surface section extending from the closure surface section and covering the flattened surface. Each of the plurality of fastening member mounting sections has a first hole section through which the head section and body section of each of the fastening members can pass, and a second hole section which extends in a direction parallel to the guide surface section, allows the body section of the fastening member to pass therethrough, and allows the head section of the fastening member to be anchored thereto. The air conditioner is provided with the abovementioned electrical component box, and the electrical component box is disposed with the guide surface section facing upward. The indoor unit for the air conditioner is provided with the abovementioned electrical component box, and the electrical component box is disposed with the guide surface section facing upward.
