Provided is an upper structure of a wave overtopping reduction type seawall including: a caisson mounted at an upper part of a seawall; a half-wave part having a first curved surface and a half-wave surface; and a wave dissipation part for first dissipating waves before waves are bumped against the half-wave surface, thereby minimizing wave overtopping through a wave pressure dispersion effect by causing first wave dissipation by the wave dissipation part before waves are bumped against the half-wave surface. Moreover, a construction method of an upper structure of a wave overtopping reduction type seawall includes: a PC (Pre-Cast) part mounting step; a grout pouring step of fixing the PC part at an upper portion of the caisson; an inner concrete pouring step of forming a half-wave part; and a wave dissipation pile joint pouring step of fixing a wave dissipation pile at an upper end of a perforated wall. The construction method of an upper structure of a wave overtopping reduction type seawall can minimize a problem in securing a field work place and minimize a marine operation period of time.
