A hole forming method prepares an optical film, forms a preparatory hole on the optical film through rotation movement of a hole cutting tool, and moves the hole cutting tool in a parallel direction with respect to a surface of the optical film while maintaining the rotation movement to form a hole having an expanded diameter from the preparatory hole, thereby being possible to improve reliability of a cutting surface by rotation and movement of a cutting blade.
