The present invention relates to an online role playing game method for learning coding, and more specifically, relates to an online role playing game method for learning coding, which is able to allow a user to give a command to a character by a method of entering a source code in the role playing game, and to obtain an effect of programming education. According to the present invention, the online role playing game method for learning coding comprises: (a) a step in which a plurality of users access the game server; (b) a step of providing a map manufacturing and mission setting interface to one or more users of the plurality of users; (c) a step of providing a map and a mission to one or more users of the plurality of users; and (d) a step in which the users, who have received the map and the mission, perform the mission.
