The present invention relates to a smart stick for a visually impaired person and, more specifically, to a smart stick for a visually impaired person, in which a sensor unit is installed on the upper end of a stick for a visually impaired person to prevent an accident colliding with an obstacle such as eaves, a signboard and the like at the height of a users head, increase a recognition ratio with respect to a surrounding situation, and prevent an accident with voice and vibration functions while the user walks. The detection unit comprises: an ultrasonic sensor module disposed on one side of the lower end of the grip unit with an upward inclination of 30 to 60 with respect to the longitudinal direction of the support unit in order to collect information on a moving path of the user; a buzzer module informing the user of a distance from an object through vibration when the ultrasonic sensor module detects the object; a GPS module receiving a GPS signal to generate location coordinate code information; and an RFID module guiding state information through voice when the ultrasonic sensor module detects the object or the location coordinate code information is received from the GPS module.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
