The present invention relates to an alternating current (AC) generator which can be driven with less power than the existing generator. In the AC generator, permanent magnets are arranged with regular intervals and a slot on which a coil is wound inward is configured. Moreover, the generator is configured with a circuit configuration of the two slots in a pair to obtain electromotive force sequentially, and a method of using a rectification rotor and a brush to connect the two slots in series with each other so as to obtain the electromotive force.
