Wi-Fi SERVICE AND AUGMENTED REALITY PROVIDING SYSTEM USING WI-FI FINGERPRINT AND METHOD THEREOF

According to the present invention, a service providing method using a Wi-Fi fingerprint of a mobile terminal to activate a Wi-Fi module when an application is executed comprises the steps of: measuring a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of a Wi-Fi signal received from adjacent wireless access points (APs) through the Wi-Fi module; selecting, as a valid Wi-Fi signal, only the Wi-Fi signal having a reference RSSI or more among the received Wi-Fi signals; extracting a basic service set identifier (BSS ID) of each AP from the valid Wi-Fi signal; transmitting the extracted BSS ID to a server; receiving store information corresponding to the BSS ID from a server; and displaying, on the application, product information of adjacent stores on a screen based on the store information. The present invention can conveniently receive information on stores adjacent to a user from a server only by using BSS ID included in a Wi-Fi signal.
