The present invention relates to a method for inhibiting microalgae using chemically treated rotifers, comprising the steps of: obtaining rotifers having morphological changes and loss of fertility through chemical treatment; and supplying the rotifers chemically treated to the microalgae, thereby inhibiting the growth of the microalgae by ingesting the microalgae and extinguishing the rotifers ingesting the microalgae after a certain period of time. As a result, the rotifers consuming the microalgae are provided to prevent the red algae or the green algae caused by the microalgae. Rotifers, which have lost fertility by chemical treatment, die after a certain time.
