摘要

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a multijunction photovoltaic cell for a luminescent photovoltaic concentrating device and a luminescent photovoltaic concentrating device using a multijunction photovoltaic cell. The luminescent photovoltaic concentrating device comprises: a luminescent photovoltaic concentrator using a light emitting body; and a multijunction photovoltaic cell formed at a side of the luminescent photovoltaic concentrator and absorbing light emitted from the light emitting body to convert the light into electric energy. The multijunction photovoltaic cell is formed by adjusting a bandgap of a light absorption layer corresponding to a specific wavelength of the light emitted from the light emitting body. Accordingly, the multijunction photovoltaic cell according to the present invention has a sub-cell with the light absorption layer optimized for a light emitting wavelength of the light emitting body of the luminescent photovoltaic concentrator. The multijunction photovoltaic cell is formed at the side of the luminescent photovoltaic concentrator using the light emitting body, thereby having improved efficiency.
