The new chessboard has a size of "645 * 520 mm" and has been transformed from its square board into a rectangular shape. One square of the board is 58 * 58 mm. After the queen, the consul is the second strongest player and can dominate with optimal placement simultaneously 24 fields. Thus, the new chessboard consists of a total of 80 fields (16 additional fields). That gives 40 characters; i.e. There are 8 more pieces.
